Lattes is part of the handloom rug collection exclusively made for C&C Milano.
Lattea rug is made with a unique blend of wool, linen and silk that makes of it a contemporary accessory. Its undefined aspect in neutral tones of grey and sand highlights the abstract pointed pattern that evokes the surface of rocks and gravel; the striated look reveals different brightness of wool, linen and silk that reflect light in different ways creating a three-dimensional dynamic surface unified by the warmth of the tones. Lattea is the perfect fusion of classic design and modern craftsmanship.

Wool is the fibre that comes from a great variety of fleece of sheep or lamb and it is one of the most used material to manufacture fabric both for apparel and interior decoration. Wool is a natural, renewable and biodegradable fibre, naturally thermoregulating and can absorb more that 35 percent of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet to the touch; is naturally fire resistant; is self-cleaning and can absorb odours. Linen is an exclusive and luxurious fibre, very sturdy and resistant with a unique luscious brightness. It is a rapidly renewable fibre and can be grown with minimal water; it requires also low-maintenance and low use of chemical inputs. Silk is a protein fibre produced by silkworms, the most shimmering and bright among animal fibres. Silk filament is obtained by unwinding the cocoons of the worms Bombyx mori in hot water and then spinning 4 to 8 filaments (long up to 1 km) together into a single thread. The silk yarn, produced from continuous filaments, has a great tensile strength and a natural shimmer because of its triangular molecular structure that acts like a prism and refracts light.
