Founded by Laurence Rouveure in 2010, the Ardesia Design is a London based interior design studio and consulting practice specialized in residential refurbishments.

Ardesia Design was commissioned to refurbish a beautiful apartment located near Canal Saint-Martin, a picturesque hidden treasure district that has now become a shabby-chic hot spot in Paris. Le Marais neighbourhood with its labyrinthine streets and alleys gives a real feel of Medieval Paris, beautiful buildings and sumptuous houses are distinctive of this area. This apartment was full of ancient wooden details and boiserie that were preserved to highlight the impressive family heritage. The interior decoration project was intentionally simple and contemporary, with a neutral palette not to overwhelm the bright space. C&C Milano linen fabrics perfectly fit the atmosphere adding a touch of luxurious materiality to light upholstered furniture in icy grey and light turtledove tones, tailored with visible seams in contrasting colours. Bespoke bed linen sets in candid white with grey stitched details give bedrooms a unique relaxed allure that perfectly convey a sense of understated refinement being chic and essential at the same time. Original and unusual, this interior decoration project is the best expression of C&C Milano contemporary approach to décor and ability to create timeless beautiful textiles.
