C&C Milano joins Atelier des Refusés

We are proud to announce the collaboration between C&C Milano and Atelier des Refusés, a circular economy approach that aims to reduce textile waste.
The name Atelier des Refusés is inspired by the renowned Salon de Refusés. Most of the artwork pieces refused by the official Salon became later on a collection of masterpieces. What was considered waste is now a valuable resource. One of biggest contributions attributed to this project is the transformation of small size leftovers, previously discarded, into beautiful decorative pieces such as spectacular cushions. Designed by the Art Director and founder of AdR Carolina Nisivoccia, each item is unique and carefully handmade in Milan by experienced tailors. They all have the AdR logo and a tag with the identification number certifying their authenticity.
The C&C Milano fabrics with their bold textures, refined colours and unique patterns inspired by the Mediterranean coast of Italy and its glorious landscapes go in perfect harmony with the AdR aesthetic. Together we aim to create one-of-a-kind pieces of art. Our common appreciation for original objects and the sustainable development of these items makes this project truly special.
